Founded by Mike Russell, the Ottawa Vulcans Motorcycle Club was officially formed 26 January 2006. Upon purchasing his first Vulcan, Mike decided Ottawa needed a VROC chapter and decided to form his own club. At first it was bike specific, geared towards Vulcans, Nomads, Meanstreaks, but has since gone non specific, with the majority being as mentioned. The club held their first meeting with 23 members in attendance, and 10 others joined but unable to attend. As of January 2008, the club boasts over 50 riders and over 85 members.
